High Class Problems

BEVERLY HILLS (MI) -- Success, it seems, creates its own unique set of issues. A scan of the thread topics on the UD Pride Message Board finds the Flyer Faithful bickering over who was the real star of the Duquesne comeback; wondering whether Mark Adams was too much of a homer on ASN and two pages worth of glowing press about the guys in Red and Blue (and sometimes Grey), all while we wait for UD’s next game to be aired on ESPN2 in prime time on Friday.

These are first-world kinda problems, wouldn’t you say?

Even Pride Plus members are getting into the high-class difficulty discussion, wondering who will replace Archie if and/or when he leaves. Let’s get real – unsuccessful college head basketball coaches don’t leave – they get axed. Winning coaches like Archie have their name pop up every time an opening at a Power 5 conference school occurs. Get used to it.

My advice: Enjoy the ride
